This Westcott Barndoor, Grid, and Gel Set fits the Strobelite series of monolights. Barndoors narrow the beam spread of a light fixture. They help create a three-dimensional look to a lighting scheme by placing light in a specific area, or by keeping it away.
A 60° Honeycomb grid narrows the light spread even more. It can be used to highlight hair or other important area of your subject that needs “punching up”. Use the gels to change the color or the softness of the light emitted from the monolight.
