The Akitio Thunder2 10G Network Adapter provides access to networks at 10 Gigabit Ethernet speeds for your Thunderbolt-equipped notebooks and desktops. The adapter features an integrated Thunderbolt 2 cable for connecting to Mac and Windows systems. When connected to a Thunderbolt 2 port, it transfers data at a rate up to 20 Gb/s. For power, it is bus powered without the need for an external power adapter. Additionally, Akitio has outfitted it with a protective rubber sleeve.
