Steiner Optics’ 10×42 HX Binoculars Bundle is an ideal all-around optic for most of your glassing needs. The powerful magnification enables you to resolve details in thick brush, and the larger 42mm objectives push the binocular’s low-light performance past where smaller ones are usable. All optical surfaces are fully multi-coated with Steiner’s proprietary broad-band coatings which help to increase light transmission, improve contrast, and ensure true color rendition across the entire visible spectrum. All exposed lens surfaces are also coated with Steiner’s “Nano Protection” which adds a thin film to repel water, dust, dirt, and oils so they stay clear and clean easily. From its 6′ close focus to a wide field of view, the HX binocular will be an essential piece of gear that provides you with an immersive observational experience. Complementing the HX’s optical performance are construction details that make them durable enough for everyday use. The chassis is made from Makrolon polycarbonate that is impact and corrosion-resistant.
This bundle includes a Nikon Retractable Rangefinder Tether was developed to aid hunters in managing the simultaneous use of binoculars and a rangefinding device. It is a spring-loaded retractable attachment that keeps a rangefinder or other accessory close at hand, yet secure and out of the way when not being used. Plus a Vortex Harness Strap is designed to use the shoulders instead of the neck to support the weight of binoculars, rangefinders, or light cameras.
