The XPD2 Handheld USB Digital Wireless Microphone System Bundle from Samson is a 2.4 GHz, portable dynamic Q6 handheld wireless microphone with a USB stick receiver. It can be used to capture audio for broadcast, presentation, and live sound applications and more.The XPD2 offers simple setup, professional full-range audio, and 100′ of wireless operation. The RXD2 USB stick receiver connects directly to Windows or Mac computers, or with any Samson Expedition Series portable PA system (sold separately) that features a USB wireless port. A 1/8″ output allows for headphone monitoring or connection to any device with an analog line input, including smartphones and other mobile devices. Furthermore, the XPD2 wireless delivers audio via digital transmission, which enables the HXD2 handheld microphone transmitter to send uncompressed signal to the receiver. The result is greater signal-to-noise when compared to a traditional wireless system, and a performance that sounds as good as using a wired microphone.
This bundle includes a four 1.2V, 2500mAh AA NiMH batteries that are rechargeable up to 500 times. You can use it to charge four of the included batteries or optional AA NiCd, AAA NiMH, or AAA NiCd batteries. The charger’s integrated micro-controller ensures that each battery is charged to its full capacity, and automatic charge cut-off prevents overcharging. Plus a Foam Windscreens are designed to reduce unwanted broadband wind noise and vocal pops with minimal high frequency loss.This WHF-158 Foam Windscreen is designed for use with many common handheld microphones with a 1-5/8″ diameter head. The density of the specialty acoustic foam is optimized to help protect the microphone element from air bursts without muffling the sound.
