The MalletKAT 8 Pro 3-Octave Mallet Percussion Controller Kit from KAT Percussion includes the MalletKAT 8 Pro standard 3-octave percussion controller, the Ketron SD1000 sound module, Hosa audio cable, MIDI cable, a footswitch, and a sustain pedal. This kit comes with 127 factory setups designed specifically to work with the Ketron module delivering percussion sounds with feel and response for recording, live stage, theater, and rehearsal applications. The MalletKAT 8 pro can be expanded to 4 or 5 octaves and features layering, poly/mono modes, and FSR technolocy. It offers an alternative to traditional marimba and vibraphone instruments. In addition, the module is equipped with a selection of other sounds such as grand piano, electric piano, glockenspiel, bass, sax, violin, organ, and more. A selection of drum loops/sounds are also included.
