The JRX218S is an 18-Inch compact direct-radiation subwoofer designed to supplement and extend low frequency performance of full-range systems in live sound and music playback applications.The JRX218S is driven by a massive JBL 18-Inch woofer with a stamped steel frame and 3-Inch voice-coil.
Speaker enclosure
The rugged, acoustically superior enclosure is constructed from 19 mm (.75 in) MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) using advanced adhesives and mechanical fastener technology for extreme durability and improved low-frequency performance.
Steel handles
JRX200 speakers are equipped with non-resonant, all-steel handles that make transporting your system from gig to gig a walk in the park.
Steel grille
The speakers also feature an attractive 18-guage hexagon perforated, steel grille as well as a dual-angle pole-mount socket. The grille provides ultimate protection without compromising acoustic performance, while the socket allows you to tilt the speakers up to 10° for enhanced coverage.
