Dreadbox Erebus Reissue Semimodular Paraphonic Analog Synthesizer
Musicians, sound designers, producers, or anyone looking for a compact yet powerful analog instrument with Eurorack compatibility will be thrilled by the Dreadbox Erebus Reissue, a rerelease of the original V1 desktop semimodular analog synthesizer that can also be used in your Eurorack case (42 HP).
The instrument features two VCOs that work paraphonically and include waveforms with hard sync for in-your-face tones. There are also independent glide controls for each VCO. The analog 2-pole Dreadbox low-pass filter helps tame harmonics, while the OTA VCA controls levels. An ADSR envelope and an AR amp envelope help shape circuits over time and are improved from the original version. Other features include a wide-range LFO, a lo-fi delay, and 18 patch points with which you can interact, and with your own Eurorack gear.
