Blue BABY BOTTLE SL Bundle Overview
Featuring a proprietary, hand-tuned capsule, the Blue Baby Bottle SL is a studio condenser microphone which builds upon its predecessor to offer a switchable 100 Hz high-pass filter and a -20 dB pad to ensure a pristine captured sound, regardless of the source. It utilizes a large, gold-sputtered Mylar diaphragm, replete with a machined brass backplate to shape its frequency response; this creates the warmth and presence characteristic of Baby-Bottle-series microphones.The Baby Bottle SL offers a cardioid polar pattern, giving you a frequency range between 20 Hz to 20 kHz more than enough to record vocals, pianos, stringed instruments, and more. This frequency response has been tailored to offer a present midrange, a smooth top end, and a low end which will not overpower the recording.
This kit includes a RF-5P-B Reflection Filter from Auray is designed to improve the quality of voice recordings captured in your home studio, rehearsal studio or other untreated acoustic environment by absorbing and isolating the microphone from unwanted ambient reflections. Also with a RFMS-580 Reflection Filter Tripod Mic Stand from Auray features heavy duty steel construction. Plus a Quad Cable from Blue uses quad-conductors making it ideal for use with the Kiwi, Cactus and Bottle microphones and “The Pop” by Blue is a universal windscreen that features sturdy wire mesh construction.
