The ZATO CONNECT works as a gateway to the ATOMOS Cloud Studio software thanks to its Wi-Fi 5, Gigabit Ethernet, and cellular hot spot connectivity. This allows you to fully customize your livestreaming experience by switching between video sources and mixing different audio source all with a single, compact device small enough to mount on a DSLR camera rig. One HDMI input, one HDMI output, and two corresponding USB Type-C ports can transform various video equipment into livestream or webcam sources. The ZATO CONNECT can record up to 1080p60 HDMI video and up to 1080p30 USB video. One 3.5mm audio input integrates a microphone or line source, which can be easily mixed with the embedded HDMI or USB signals thanks to the ZATO’s audio mixer. Paired with Tascam Portacapture X8 portable handheld multitrack recorder makes it incredibly easy to capture up to six individual tracks (plus a stereo mix) of detailed, high-resolution audio for common production scenarios. Its detachable condenser mics can be set for a wide or tight stereo image, and may be used simultaneously with the mic/line combo inputs. Great use for podcasts, live concerts, and multi-mic setups.
