Arca-Swiss FlipLock Quickset Device
Overview
The FlipLock Quickset Device from Arca-Swiss is a quick release clamp that allows you to quickly and conveniently mount and dismount your camera from the tripod via a small lever on the side of the device. The 2.4″ diameter Quickset features a bubble level for correctly aligning your camera, as well as an industry-standard 3/8″-16 mounting socket with a 1/4″-20 adapter that permits using it on virtually any tripod head. As an added security feature, the quick release has safety stop pins to insure that the optional camera plate doesn’t inadvertently slide off of it. The FlipLock Quickset Device accepts separately purchased standard Arca plates. If using another brand’s “Arca-Compatible” camera plates it is recommended that all of the plates be of the same brand due to width inconsistencies among manufacturers.
